De Waterkant is considered a safe neighbourhood by Cape Town standards, with a very relaxed attitude to life. The townhouse is centrally located in this trendy suburb and yet are in peaceful location. You are a few steps away from all the hustle and bustle - but are still able to enjoy plenty of peace and quiet. Truly the best of both worlds!

De Waterkant is also an ideal location from which to explore Cape Town and the surrounding areas. Top attractions such as the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Table Mountain, Lion's Head and Signal Hill, as well as areas such as Sea Point, Gardens and the city centre, are all just a few minutes away. The magnificent beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay are also within easy reach.

From De Waterkant, it is easy to explore numerous other must-see destinations such as the Cape Peninsula, Simon’s Town with its nearby penguin colony and Cape Point. There are also countless wine estates, unique historic towns like Stellenbosch and Franschhoek and the kilometre-long beach at Bloubergstrand with its famous view of Table Mountain.

How to get to Cape Town?

 

There are good flight connections to Cape Town from Europe, North America, the Gulf region and Asia. The airport is about 20 kilometres from the city centre. We recommend booking a private shuttle, or using Uber or a licensed taxi to get to your accommodation. The journey takes approximately 30 to 60 minutes depending on traffic.

The townhouse is within easy walking distance of MyCitiBus stops. This is considered a safe and reliable form of transport.
